Stand With Her Worldwide is a registered professional social enterprise established in Uganda in 2018. We were founded in response to the persistent social and economic challenges affecting women and girls, particularly those facing poverty, limited access to education, gender inequality, unemployment, early marriages, and barriers to financial independence.
We believe that when women and girls are empowered with the right skills, resources, and opportunities, they become powerful drivers of positive change within their families, communities, and society.
Across Uganda, women represent a significant part of the workforce, especially within the informal economy. However, many continue to experience economic exclusion, limited access to opportunities, gender-based violence, and barriers to personal and professional growth.
Stand With Her Worldwide exists to bridge these gaps by creating inclusive opportunities that enable women and girls to build confidence, develop sustainable livelihoods, and achieve social and economic independence.

Stand With Her Worldwide began in 2018 from a simple belief — that when a woman is given an opportunity, she can transform not only her own life but also the lives of those around her. We saw many women and girls facing barriers that held them back: limited access to education, lack of skills, unemployment, financial struggles, and social challenges.
We listened to their stories, witnessed their struggles, and saw their incredible potential. This inspired us to create a platform where women and girls could find support, learn new skills, build confidence, and access opportunities to become independent.
Today, we stand alongside women and girls by providing empowerment programs, vocational training, mentorship, and entrepreneurship support. Every training session, every partnership, and every life touched brings us closer to a future where every woman has the opportunity to dream, lead, and succeed.
This is more than an organization — it is a movement built on hope, opportunity, and the belief that when we stand with her, we strengthen the whole community.
Directorate of Industrial Training
We partner with the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) to support skills development, and opportunities that empower women and girls to build sustainable livelihoods.
PSFU
We collaborate with the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) to support entrepreneurship, capacity building, and economic empowerment initiatives that help women and girls develop skills, access opportunities, and create sustainable livelihoods.
GROW Project
We partner with the GROW Project to support women’s economic empowerment through skills development, entrepreneurship opportunities, and access to resources that enable women-led businesses to grow and thrive.
